Dr. Madison Ruelle
Dr. Ruelle was born and raised just outside of Topeka, KS. He earned his Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Kansas State University and then studied at the Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, TX, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2014. While studying for his doctorate, he worked as a graduate research assistant, helping to develop new technologies for assessing vision, tutoring fellow students and serving the community through local outreach with Student Volunteers in Optometric Services to Humanity (SVOSH).
As part of his clinical training, he completed an internship with the VA medical center in Wichita, KS, and another with a large medical and contact lens clinic in Hammond, LA.
Upon graduating, Dr. Ruelle returned home to serve his fellow Kansans in all their visual needs. He enjoys all aspects of primary eye care, especially complicated cases. He enjoys serving patients of all ages, and sees patients speaking either English or Spanish.
Dr. Ruelle currently lives in Lenexa with his wonderful wife Jennifer, an occupational therapist from Onaga, KS. When they’re not sneaking off to Topeka to see their families or singing loud car duets, you’ll find them spending their free time in the nearby parks or cheering on the Royals.
