Job Description – Technician
Eye Associate technicians are an extension of the doctors' care and responsible for, but not limited to:
- Scheduling patients
- Obtaining and confirming insurance
- Pre-testing: Including – color vision, stereopsis, tonometry, auto-refraction, lensometry, and visual field/OCT testing
- Assisting patients with their eyeglass selection
- Assisting patients with contact lenses including training new wearers
- Eyeglass adjustments
Job description – Front Desk
Eye Associate's front desk position is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Answer multi-line phones to direct the patient to the appropriate department or handle the patients' needs yourself
- Greet patients with a warm welcome upon arrival and obtain any necessary data
- Provide patients with appropriate forms and documentation that is needed
- Process payments for patients
- Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on the need of the appointment
- Provide our patients with support and guidance as needed
